Function
The installation of protection or monitoring systems, such as earth leakage protection relays, involves the use of Zero-Sequence Current Transformers (CTs). Active conductors pass through the aperture of the zero-sequence CT, enabling the differential summation of vector currents and allowing for the detection of leakage currents. The zero-sequence CTs offered by SOCOMEC meet the required performance criteria in terms of measurement sensitivity and are suitable for use with RESYS N40 earth leakage protection relays. Available in solid-core (series ΔIC) and split-core (series ΔIP-R) versions, these CTs are compatible with all wiring configurations.

Advantages
Complete range
All dimensions and types are available to suit any bar and cable configurations or diameters.
Optimum performance
Thanks to patented innovation, the conductors are perfectly centred in the residual CT to ensure accurate measurement and enhanced immunity to mains disturbances. It also enables direct mounting of the residual CT onto the cable.
High sensitivity
Socomec residual CTs can measure leakage currents from 3 mA enabling early detection of insulation degradation.
Clear alarm indication
The T-10 RJ12 adaptor integrates an alarm LED to quickly locate RCM alarms inside electrical cabinets.
Plug & Play
- Direct mechanical and electrical connections to the residual current transformer.
- RJ12 connection to the DIRIS Digiware R-60 for easy integration of the Digiware system.
